IRLP Node 2010 is now running at Whistler, just in time for the
2010 Winter Olympics with only 18 days to go. It along with node
1147 in Squamish are now connected to reflector 9020. There is also
a Node 1269 in West Van near Cypress Bowl where some of the
events will be taking place.

Other than testing, the very first contact was from Roy VE7IS up
in Okanagan Falls. He connected to reflector 9020. It was a pleasant
surprise to find out that he was a torch bearer back in 1988 in -15C
temperatures. With it almost on the home stretch, he was going down
to watch the torch run going through his town later today.
