This looks like an interesting Field Trip that might be considered next year. Its about a three hour train ride down into the vicinity, as an example, so plan for a long day.

Hey NJQRPers,
While down at the BWI airport area yesterday, I happened across a way-cool place that many here on the list could likely identify with: The National Electronics Museum. I live here in the Baltimore area and have gone past this somewhat-unassuming building hundreds of times over the past decade, but this time for some reason I looked closely and stopped in. It has an absolutely stunning collection of yesteryear electronics in the form of antique radios, communications radios from WWII, Korean war, Vietnam and other conflicts not so long ago. Anti-submarine mapping, electronic countermeasures, ground-based and airborne radar units, satellites, computing systems, my original K&E slide rule from college, and early Victrola record players.
I snapped a bunch of photos and posted a link to them them at the top of my home page ... http://midnightdesignsolutions.com/
Hope you enjoy the browse. And if you ever make it down here, you should really make an effort to spend an afternoon there at the museum. Perhaps an NJQRP “field trip” sometime, like we did one year to the ARRL HQ?
