Wow Gerry. I am really sorry. I spoke with Dale on Tuesday afternoon ( the "window" had opened that morning) and he told me that he would be accepting orders until the 22nd, but he also told me that he had already received 300 orders in less than 8 hours, and expected to be at the office until 2am. I guess the order level throughout the day was so great that they had to stop accepting so as not to put their commercial business at risk.

Hi Gerry,
Thank you for the inquiry. We just closed the order window and will reopen 12/15/09. We are now accepting EndFedz orders.
The SM-50 is $99 and allow $10 for U.P.S. Ground-Trac shipping.
Payment via PayPal to par at parelectronics.com or prepay by check.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to ongoing high levels of military and aerospace work we have suspended amateur production until 12/15, 2009. PLease do not place an order before this date. In the end, the amateurs benefit because they receive the same exacting standards that our commercial clients demand.
Thank you for your patience.
73,
Dale W4OP

Fellow Members:
FYI - Par Electronics, makers of really fine end fed antenns have opened up their ordering window to non-commercial ( read that ham) orders thru Sept 22nd. They typically only do this every six weeks or so.
