Soapbox:

A lot of fun with IOTA contest on Corfu Isl. However, the set-up of my
doublet antenna caused some sleepless nights because the signals were
very very low. Finally, after 2 days of testing I found the error. I
used cheap speaker wire as antenna wire with obviously bad isolation
because the wires fused together and caused a short-circuit in the
center (feeding point) of the doublet. Anyway the autotuner matched
the ladderline with the short circuited doublet perfectly and
simulated a tuned antenna. After the error had been fixed I enjoyed my
pile-ups on all bands. I saved money in the wrong place. My thanks to
all the callers.
