Soapbox:

What a great and interesting Contest!

Before the start of the WPX RTTY Contest I had the following facts:

- Saturday - I have to quit around 17z (family duties)
That means, not so much breaks on Saturday, a long one between Saturday and Sunday
- Hardware Contest setup was ready
- Last year, I did SO2R with one keyboard, this year I've choose to use two of them. A good decision.
- Some bright Radar QRM on 40m at 2355z, so I've choose to begin on 80m

About contest:

- Despite I was too early QRT on Saturday, a final score is more or less very, very good. Of course, it could be always better, but hey, next year there is an another WPX RTTY Contest, or? :-)

- Sunday afternoon an amazing opening to NA. At the end, 37% all Qs were made with NA (2023: 27%), means 600+ QSOs and 250+ PFX from USA/VE

- 45% of all QSOs are on 15/10m

- 20m OPs has a hard time during Solar Cycle 25. Nice CONDX, no activity.

- No problems with hardware at all. some problems with DXLog (more likely MMTTY), restarted three or four times because MMTTY didn't reacted anymore or had a big lag.

- I want to apologize if my online score was not all the time visible due DXLog restarts.

- Bad behavior #1 - a big thank to EA**** Station for stealing CQ frequency four or five times. They (or he) just appeared on my frequency, starting F1 F1 F1, ignoring free text about QSY QSY FREQ in use etc. I could understand if that happened on higher bands, however, 80 and 40m my signal is enough strong to decode me.

- Bad behavior #2: inband/multi Stations chasing new prefix. It is not necessary to send your call 20 times or more. Simply, it is not in the sports and HAM Radio spirit. I understand that there is a big fight going on, they follow the online Score, they fight for every prefix. They were always the same stations and callsigns.
You're not the only one on the desired frequency. Maybe someone called before you did? That's rude just to click on the desired frequency and start sending your call without hearing anything.

I would like to thank my family who took care of the food and beverages during the competition.

Hardware: Flexradio 6600, PGXL, TGXL, Antenna Genius 8x2, 4O3A HP BPF, OM6BPF
(really love Flexradio network simplicity)

10 El. 5 band Beam @10m (30ft), 2 El. per Band, 40m home made GP, 80m/160m UA2FZ GP

Claiming new German SOAB(T/S) Record (also holding WPX SSB SOAB(T/S) German record)

NF3R: fantastic job, and hopefully a new world record in T/S Category
MM9I: seems UBN will decide who's better

73, Zik DK8ZZ
