[RRDXA] DE Clarification: WAEDC and IARU Bandplan

Liebe Contester und Teilnehmer am WAEDC Contest.

Die Regel, über die wir heute diskutieren ist seit über 20 Jahren Teil der WAEDC
Regeln. Nach meinem Wissensstand wurde bisher nie jemand bestraft oder gar
disqualifiziert wenn er außerhalb der IARU Bandplan Regeln gearbeitet hat. Für
die Zeit seit 2010 kann ich das mit Sicherheit sagen, da ich seit dieser Zeit
der Manager des WAEDC bin.

Wir planen auch 2016 niemanden zu disqualifizieren, wenn er sich nicht an diese
spezielle Regel hält.

Mit dem schon abgeschlossenen CW Teil und dem SSB Teil am kommenden Wochenende
würde das zu sehr in den laufenden Wettbewerb eingreifen! Dies im Hinblick auf
die Auslegung der letzten 20+ Jahre, der Tatsache das wir uns inmitten der
Saison befinden und es auch Einfluss auf die WRTC haben würde.   

Wir werden versuchen die betroffenen QSO´s aus der Wertung zu nehmen. Das wäre
eine faire Regelung für Alle. Manche Teilnehmer haben ihre Fehler schon selber
erkannt und die betreffenden QSO als XQSO in ihren Cabrillo Log gekennzeichnet.
Damit gehen sie nicht in die Punkte Berechnung ein.

Aktuell möchten wir alle Teilnehmer darum bitten die Regeln einzuhalten und
NICHT in den contestfreien Bereichen zu senden. Sehr wahrscheinlich würde man
diese QSOs sowieso wieder verlieren.

Nach den IARU-Empfehlungen sollte Contest-Betrieb außerhalb der
"contest-preferred" Bandsegmente unterbleiben. Daher ist in folgenden Bereichen
Contestbetrieb nicht erlaubt:

CW : 3560-3800; 7040-7200; 14060-14350 kHz 
SSB: 3650-3700; 7050-7060; 7100-7130; 14100-14125; 14300-14350 kHz.

Dieser Teil der WAEDC Regeln wird für das Jahr 2017 überprüft werden. Vor den
WAEDC Contesten im Jahr 2017 bitte unbedingt noch einmal die aktuellen Regeln
prüfen.

Nichtsdestotrotz empfehlen wir stets den IARU Bandplan zu beachten.
