Hallo zusammen,
 
ich werde heute mal etwas Guerilla Marketing betreiben, denn ich benötige
dringend Unterstützung im QRL und in unseren Reihen gibt es ja doch einige
"Kollegen".

Network Engineer

Job Overview:
An opportunity to join the recently established Engineering and Operational
Services (EOS) Team here
in Frankfurt. The team is responsible for operating, support, maintenance and
further development of
DVB’s global IT infrastructure. This mainly includes Network and Voice Services,
Storage and various
Microsoft Server Technologies (Exchange;Sharepoint; SQL-Server, ...).
 
Job description:
· Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Network
infrastructure;
· Operate, monitor and maintain the existing Network landscape including Cisco
Catalyst/Nexus
 Switches, Cisco Wireless, Cisco Prime, Cisco ASA and Riverbed components.
· Configure and deploy new services in the entire environment (12 locations
worldwide);
· Working on projects regarding system updates, rollouts and new applications
· Continues Service improvement to all services
· Close co-operation with service providers;
· Contribute to IT security policies and procedures;
· End user support/ 2nd level support

Job requirements:
· Solid experience in the field of Cisco Device configuration and management;
· Ideally know-how in Cisco VoIP, Network Security and the TCP/IP Protocol;
· ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
· Willingness to expand knowledge to other services
· Experiences in managing multinational vendors and providers;
· Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail with a pronounced drive for
solutions;
· Project management capabilities
· Service orientation, self-motivated and proactive;
· Good team player, ability to work to tight timeframes;
· Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills to work with
people over a
distance (e-mail, phone);
· Willingness to travel occasionally
