For this contest we used a database containing 377262 QSOs and 211937 QTCs
created by 1227 different entrants. A total of 8080 callsigns is estimated
to have been on the air. 312764 of all contacts could be crosschecked
directly log to log. 51554 of the contacts could be verified indirectly by
tracking active callsigns in the database that have not submitted a log. The
remaining 12944 contacts repesent 'uniques' or 'rare calls' but are left in
the database. Thus, one can say, that 96.6% of all contacts could be
verified, leaving only a very small amount of doubtful QSOs. Thanks to the
whole WAEDC team DF1QR, DL2NBY, DJ4MH and DL6MHW for the log checking and
the software updates.
