Hallo Freunde,

Falls Interesse einfach ein email an mich (lx2a at gmx.net).

Als Anhang auch die email von 5B4AGN, falls jemand einen Kit mitbestellen möchte.

Recently I have had a number of enquiries concerning availability of kits for TXBPF build. Alas I have none available. While I had decided the 2014 group buy would likely be the last, due to the amount of my time these things take, I am nonetheless considering managing another should there prove to be enough interest to ensure reasonable economy of scale.

To achieve economy of scale in component purchase, demand for at least 50 multi-band units will be required. A single multi-band unit is typically configured for the 6 HF contest bands, though two muli-band units may be configured in tandem to provide filtering for all 11 bands from 160-6m if required.

At individual builders discretion units may be configured with filters from the 6 band contest series or from the 11 band series which includes WARC and 6m. Details may be found in the files area.

A review of message 1314 will provide cost detail associated with the 2014 group buy. At this stage I have no reason to assume costs for a 2015 group buy would be materially different but I have no plan to investigate further until demand level is understood.

Participants have multiple options on their approach to this project. They may choose to take all available items or cherry pick and source the remainder themselves. Costs are provided against each available option.

If you or someone you know is interested in participating in a 2015 group buy please drop a mail to bob.5b4agn at gmail.com setting out what you are interested in acquiring and in what quantity.

At this stage all that is needed is an expression of interest. No one will be asked to commit funds until EOQs have been reached and costs are confirmed.

Over the next few weeks I will periodically publish a list detailing those interested together with my understanding of their requirements in the files area. Notices confirming updates will be published here.

I expect to close the list on 14 January. If by that time there is enough interest to make a buy viable I will proceed to confirm costs then ask for commitment to participate or withdraw.

Seasons greetings.
