If you use a barefoot (<200W) rig, I can recommend the SGC SmartTuner and a
fiber glass mast. I used a SG-230 to feed a delta loop for 30/40m with great
results and recently I use a piece of vertical wire and 2 elevated radials
as my 2nd antenna for SO2R on the higher bands. The SGC SmartTuners are
strong for /P use, very versatile and do a great job. Good for loops,
dipoles, verticals etc - makes almost everyting 50 ohms at the feedpoint.

Now, there is a BIG difference in quality between the fiber glass masts. I
know because ON5ZO / OQ5M is 50% a permanent Field Day Station setup HI.
None can stand permanent exposure to UV sunlight. They get brittle and break
in the end. Always use tape to fix the element transisions. If they collapse
and the elements get squeezed within eachother, they will be torn and jammed
= good for the trashbin.
I have used:
- DK9SQ ( http://www.qsl.net/dk9sq/ ): The early versions (pre 2002) have
metal rings on the element ends, which corrode after time and start moving,
which weakens the mast. I don't know the current models.

- DX-wire ( http://dx-wire.de/ ): good but a bit too 'light' I think.

- SpiderBeam ( http://www.spiderbeam.net ): very rugged and strong, seems
like 'the real deal' for our needs.
