    DXPEDITION TO DESERTAS ISLAND - AF046   =20
CT9D/CT9M - Madeira Team
The Madeira has the pleasure to annouce  that will accomplish a DXpedition =
to the Desertas Island. IOTA Reference AF046 between the 23 to the 27 July =
2003.

The main purpose of this trip is to mount a VHF repeater in those island, w=
hich will enlarge the VFH coverture between all the islands iun Madeira Arc=
hiplego.

In the mean time we will activate the islands in SSB, CW and RTTY, with the=
 following data:

In the 23 of July some of the crew will depart Madeira Island during the mo=
rning, expecting to be active late in the afternoon. In the 25 of July some=
 memberes of the crew will arrive to reeforce the Team for the RSGB IOTA Co=
ntest

Operators: CT3BD, CT3DL, CT3EE, CT3IA, CT3EN, CT3IQ, CT3KY, CT3KU  e DF4SA.

Callsign:  CT9D, and  CT9M for RTTY.

Modes: CW, RTTY and SSB

Bands: 6,10,12,15,17,20,40 and 80m

Power: 100W

Antennas: 2 El from  ECO for 10,12,15,17 and 20m

            Spider Beam (DF4SA)- 10, 15, 20, 40m

            Dipols y verticals multiband.

            4 El. Beam for  6m

Rigs: IC756 ProII, IC735, IC706MKII, FT100D

KAM for  RTTY.  portable computers,K1EA CT9..and WF1B Soft. for RTTY

We apply for all the paccience in all the people trying to works us, but we=
 remember that we are using car bateries, recharged by solar pannels. So th=
e power will be really a problem. Be pacient we will work as much sations a=
s we can, spread all aroundd the worls.
