A short note to remind you about two RSGB contests this summer.

JUBILEE CONTEST 2002
This celebrates Queen Elizabeth's 50th anniversary, and will be a=20
good opportunity to make interesting QSOs around the world.=20
Many Commonwealth stations will be on the air, from great DX=20
locations.
1000z-1000z, 8-9 June 2002
3.5, 7, 14, 21, 28 MHz CW, SSB, mixed
Contact Commonwealth stations, send RS(T) and serial number. 5=20
points per contact, multiplier is the total of Commonwealth call=20
areas on all bands.
Email logs (any format) to [email protected]
or paper to G3UFY. Deadline: 6 July 2002

Attractive certificates for entrants who work 50 or more band call=20
areas. Top score from each country will receive a certificate (>100=20
QSOs).

RSGB IOTA CONTEST 2002
Many islands and DXCC countries will be activated for this event,=20
which is has grown into one of the major contests of the calendar.=20
Entrants can be from an island or a continent, with awards in=20
several categories.
1200z-1200z, 27-28 July 2002
3.5, 7, 14, 21, 28 MHz CW, SSB, mixed
Contact any station. Island: 15 points, non-island: 3 points, send=20
RS(T), serial number & IOTA reference (if island).
Multiplier is IOTA references per band/mode.
12-hour section -- an interesting tactical challenge, fits in with=20
family activities.

or paper to RSGB. Deadline: 1 September 2002.

Certificates and awards in many categories.
All 2001 entrants will soon receive a results & rules booklet, plus a=20
