According to the document found >>HERE<<, "STTN.6. All equipment should be capable of communications at a range of at least 5 km. Contacts made between non-fixed stations, for example portable and/or rover stations, should be made over a distance of at least 5 km." I added ialics simply for emphasys. This is a departure from the historic 1 km distance. I assume this will mean additional log scrutiny in grids where rovers use the same hilltops and upon arrival will log eachother before contacting DX.
