for one thing you can keep the engine on and the alternator keeping the voltage and current high. I always kept the van engine on while transmitting with my 350W 2m amp that takes about 50A. I used 2 marine batteries in series. Other options are golf cart batteries VERY HEAVY. Another alternative is a generator feeding an Astron 70A Power supply or putting 3 30Aswitching supplies in parallel.
