[Rover] 12v Power Budget & Delivery

I'm interested in strategies employed by others to assure the rigs and amps have adequate supply power, even if the electronics are "in the trunk".
At first, I'd like to support 100 watt amps x 4 bands but would like to consider being able to support TE Systems HP amps (56 Amps each), eventually...maybe. :-)
So...how to you "get the volts" to the operating position?
