Rick,

Other thing I did not include. This year at Dayton, I brought down
rover with the array on it. 6, 2, 222, 432, 1296. Done it several
times. It was a major tourist attraction. Just like up here. I would
say about every 10 minutes or so, someone would stop, take a picture.
The RSGB Radcom magazine editor, got a couple pix of me standing by
it. Here, at the National Park, I am enough of a visitor, that a
couple of the Rangers, have had a few chats with me. So when I show
up, visitors of the Park start taking pix of Rover, and the Ranger can
simply include some Amateur radio comments as part of their normal
talk. They say I am their biggest attraction, when I show up.

What I tell a few of the Rovers, is that here it is, we have the
chance, to provide the public with a good view of Ham radio, and what
we can do, and are doing. This is why on the side of Rover, is the
www.arrl.org on the side. So, if it gets in their picture. They can
look up the League, and maybe find something interesting. After all,
the League is set up to handle public questions. Why we need a nice
glossy general ham radio brochure to pass out.
