[Rover] power cables

Has anyone had any experience using a late model Corolla as a rover vehicle?
I did a quick visual scan for a hole in the firewall so I can install a
large power lead, but didn't see anything yet...will do a more detailed
search this weekend.  In my previous vehicle I was able to run a power lead
to the passenger side of the engine compartment, then through a hole where a
cable bundle entered the cockpit from the door.  Not able to do that with
this vehicle--and the cigarette lighter is rated at only 120 watts, so
that's not enough.
