Hi all,
Brian plus Dave (no license yet) operating as N3IQ/rover will head to:
FM27 (rarish grid-) 1400-1700
FM17 1715-1930
FM16 1945-2230
FM26 2300-0100 or so--not a great site
then drive/sleep (in that order)
FM28 0800-0930
FM18 0930-1100 near the grid corner at Ruthsburg, MD
then long drive
FM19aw 2-5
FN10bb 530-8
FM09vv? 8:30-10
then home early enough to get to work at 6 on Monday.
Station set up is:
100w 6M, 2el moxon
400w 2M, 10 el
300w 222, 7 el
90w 432, 19 el
8w 903 , 30 el (figure 10dB extra for rarish grids, however!)
40w 1296 40 el
40w 2304 44 el
2w 3456 44 el
15w 5760 27" dish
8w 10368 27" dish...
I will bring 24G (.4w, 13" dish), but haven't had a contact in over a year.
If we miss on 903 or 3G, 5760 is a big band, so please don't despair
or go away--we will get thru!
The Hepburn maps are not that promising...but we usually get
some coastal tropo from the bridge area...
Try 144.247 or if busy (it always is, now), 144.237, 50.237 all the time,
and usually .085 or .100 all the way up. Dave will monitor 50.237 for
random call-ins.
73, good luck and good contesting,
Brian and Dave
