Please bring your completely outfitted rover to the CSVHFS Conference! You
can show off what you've done and get ideas from other creative rovers.
The Central States VHF Societys 40th Anniversary Conference July
27th-19th, 2006 will be held at the Ramada Mall of America Hotel and
Thunderbird Convention Center. This event will have all the traditional
activities youve come to expect at a CSVHFS Conferenceinteresting
technical presentations, antenna range, noise figure workbench, Hospitality
Suites, Friday night flea-market, banquet with interesting speaker, and
abundant prize table at the banquet. New this year are poster sessions,
Dealer Area with at least three dealers, and Rover Row/Dish Bowl. Yes, we
have a great Family Program planned and the Mall of America right across
the parking lot is attractive for the whole family.
What you need to do:
1. Go to www.csvhfs.org and follow the links for 2006 Conference to learn
about the many details of this event. The registration link has
downloadable mailouts and registration forms.
2. Pay particular attention to the Lodging link and follow the instructions
there to make your hotel reservation and get our contracted low rate. Its
important for you to make your room reservation before July 1st because
after July 5th, we lose our good rate. With the Mall of America right
there, rates become MUCH higher.
If you need a mailout and registration form snail-mailed to you, just email
info at csvhfs.org asking for one.
If youve ever been a CSVHFS member, this event is the one to attend as an
anniversary and reunion. The website has the listing of interesting
presentations you will see. Also, the website has (shortly) many more
tourism suggestions to make your trek to Minnesota and the Twin Cities a
real vacation.
Please come!
