Have a look around for a used lighting tower such as this:

Try and search the local equipment rental houses for one that has a blown
generator. Used equipment auctions are also a good source.
We rebuilt one into a portable VHF repeater. We insert a piece of pipe into
the upper mast section, and get another 10 feet or so.
I also took it out roving in the 2002 June VHF QSO party. We stacked 6
meter, 2 meters and 70 cm antennas on it.

We some how managed to end up as multiplier leader for 50 MHz Rovers...
Set up and tear down is very quick, usually less than 15 minutes or so. We
also managed to run a 4 grid square corner by driving with the mast
extended. You do have to watch for powerlines when doing so!!!
While that extra 20 feet might not make a difference on a mountain top, it
sure can help when working from the flats!
