Mike,

I also use Delorme, both Topo and Streets. Plus GPS. I've had a Garmin GPS 
III for years, but I recently starting working with a Magellan Meridian with 
MapSend Topo. This allows uploads of USGS topo's into the GPS.

Finally, I use Radio Mobile a lot with the SRTM's. Shuttle Radar Topographic 
Mapping. Accuracy is good to about 30 meters vertical. I like to analyze 
specific paths on the microwaves.
