Hello Jack,
CU2QSO has no permanent presence on 2 meters yet...other than the corridor from
Albany NY - through Syracuse NY - to Rochester NY (and Rochester is "down for
maintenance" right now).

Also...it has a LOT of bad karma to overcome, what with the debacle with Dan
Henderson @ ARRL saying it was illegal before he knew anything about it (I'm
still shaking my head on that one).  That soured a LOT of people to the whole
concept.  Then he took the time to understand it and reversed himself.  Even
so...it did a LOT of damage to the whole project.

As a result, we're behind in many arenas.

All this to say...keep the activity up..even if don't see much for this
contest.  Activity breeds activity.  The early adopters will have a huge
advantage over later adopters.  Here's hoping that at least one rover in your
area will take the leap and power up with CU2QSO.  It is a wonderful thing when
it is in operation.  I've used it for three contests so far...and has been
responsible for making QSO's that I'd have otherwise missed.
