In fact...I ran a halo from home this time around...and found it to hear as well
as my 3-element beam at the same height.  The difference was about a half S-unit
on transmit.  My 100 watts couldn't be heard as easily.  Next time, I'll double
the height of the halo, stack a second one, and run 1200 watts.

Unlike the higher bands, I think a halo is an excellent antenna for 6 meters.
