I just finished reading Tim's (KE3HT) e-mail and was wondering if other =
rovers here experienced the same as Tim? I hate to admit it but I =
bested my last years score by over 10000 points so I was quite pleased! =
Sorry Tim...:) I experienced two great 6 meter openings to the south. =
One at the start of the contest on Saturday afternoon and another Sunday =
afternoon. I didn't drive as far this time, only 5 grids which may have =
helped my score more than propagation. I did not hear K8GP once during =
the contest and I have never had difficulty picking them up from Bear Mt =
in FN21 of which I spent quite a bit of time on. It is difficult for me =
to compare to last year, as I spent WAY to much time on the road and not =
enough operating. I also have some new amps this year with better =
pre-amps. So I may have just thought it was good propagation and it was =
really equipment!! I didn't think much of not hearing K8GP at the time =
but now am wondering what everyone else heard???

KB1EAA, Dave
