  Thanks for te reply.  I think someone mentioned that brand a couple of
years ago, but I'd forgotten about it.
  AS for teh DX-70 rig; I owned one for quite a while, and the NB in it
was useless.  I would still own the rig, but the call of a rig with 2M
and 430 MHz also,  was just too great.  I now own both a Yaesu FT-100 and
an FT-817
