Well I finally got the 2 element prototype finished tonight and after some
"honey do" jobs tommorrow I hope to try it out on the contest.

MAIN CHANGES/DEVELOPMENTS:

Elements made from the 1/8" copper-coated steel welding rods have shown to
be very rugged as I took a spare and threw it around the yard today to see
how it would stand-up to torture and it never flinched or bent.

For mounting I am weather testing a system whereas the elements are in the
common diamond pattern, however the only support is a 1"x2" furring strip
verticlely placed whereas the outside points of the elements are able to
flow/flop in the wind which does appear to have some advantage as the whole
antenna flexes instead of a rigid structure which would break easier.

Also make for the ability to break down the entire antenna for transport to
mountaintop, Field Day, etc... However would not be useable as a moving
antenna as I have seen on K5UHF's truck in a 2 element version.

Feeding the antenna with RG-8 coax, directly soldered to the elements and
covered with Duct-Seal and tape.

Well got to go to bed so I can be up early so as to knock out the chores so
I can play! ! !
