WOW What a responce overflow!  I have taken the main suggestion and changed
out the #10 copper wire elements for the welding rods and things look much
better.

Another thought crossed my mind, was interested to see if anyone has tried
to do the same thing on 6 meters?  WA5VJB said he was never able to get one
that was easy to replicate but he had done it.

So has anyone else tried and/or made a 6 meter version? Was seriously
thinking of trying to see if it can be done. Maybe 1/4" or 3/8" copper
tubing or even 1/2" copper water pipe for the elements???

So I will soon have 2  2meter versions made and hope to stack them at home
and have a single for roving/hilltopping.
