A message I received from Steve, N2CKH:
"Also, for everyone that will be in the ARRL VHF contest this weekend,
be sure to look for OMARC sponsored station N2MO operating from FM39
off the New Jersey shore for the first 24 hours of the contest on 6m,
2, and
70cm on the N2IHN trawling vessel BUMPS. At overnight lows in contest
activity we may end up using IRLP node 728 on a reflector or some
direct node connections looking for a chat to help keep us awake at
sea. To learn more about BUMPS visit: http://www.njsr.com/bumps/ "
If you haven't guessed it, FM39 is an all water grid. If you'd like to
contact Steve, you can email him [email protected]
