It certainly would be a big help.  I always swear I'm going to buy one at
the end of every contest, but I haven't got one yet:-)

I do use my old laptop for logging and cw keying.  So sometimes I use it to
call CQ on cw.  I often get  ssb responses even when cq'ing with cw.
