[Rover] Amp question

Was poking around on e-bay this morning and found a small 6meter brick 
amplifier for a descent price ($85.00) for 100watts.

However after reading the info on this item it says that it is a commercial 
amp peaked for 6meter use, Type AB but would need a changeover delay added to 
the keying relay? 

Is this something I should shy away from as a problem looking for a home or 
is it a good buildup piece as I am assuming Type AB is SSB compatable and the 
adaptation to SSB use wouldn't be a major operation.
