In my case I'm thinking that there may be times I'm going to have my vehicle
near 110VAC when stationary for an extended period of time and could if I
choose to, just unplug the radios from the battery, and into the power
supply.  In this case adding a connector to the 12VDC circuit at the time of
instalation is only a few bucks.
