[Rover] Loaded antenna question

Jacob,
   I don't think a vertical polarized antenna is a good idea on 6M if you
plan on doing any serious SSB/CW contesting.  There is just too much of a
penalty for being cross polarized. Go horizontal at least.   But adding a
6M vertical to a vehicle is so easy, why not do both?   A mag mount will
hold a 6m vertical with no difficulty, and it can be removed and stored
if you want, while in motion or on non-ham activities.
