[RadioShack] HTX-252 mic

"The only number I can come up with for the mic is from the service 
manual, JMHTX252X. I have not been able to find out any helpful info on 
this.I did contact one of the gents that has allot of info about 
replacing the cable but he wasn't able to help me."

Pretty sure that's the same site I just came across.  TONS of info, but 
nothing on the mic beyond the cable.  It seems the Allbrecht AE540, and 
HTX-252 parallel each other.  Allbrecht also parallels Uniden scanners, 
but no info on the Allbrecht AE540, either.  I did find some mics that 
were very similar, but slightly different buttons, 19-1125, and 19-1126, 
in case the heads could be swapped, no joy.  No luck with the service 
manual part number, either, and I tried breaking up the number, 
JM-HTX252-X, and other ways.

You might ask this guy if he's seen an actual part number for the mic 
(probably 19-xxxx, if anything):
