[RadioShack] Repeater Question

[Neil Kollipara, KC8YFF]

They haven't added a new tone recently because I have heard the exact same tone ending a statement by people who are talking on the repeater for a long time. One time I did get into the repeater and talked to a guy, now I can't even get into the repeater nor can I talk to anyone on the repeater.

settings on your radio until you find it or ask about it on another
repeater. Somebody will know if there is a tone required for access now.

Also, try keying up for longer than a second. In lieu of a tone, some
repeater owners have been putting a delay in the circuit to keep intermod
and "clunkers" from keying up the repeater.

TO ALL:

Hi this is Neil, KC8YFF, owner of the Radio Shack reflector. I have a quick
question. Whenever I try to get into this one specific repeater I can't get
into it. Once I did, but now I can't. I can't even talk on the repeater,
although I can hear people talking on the repeater. Whenever I push the PTT
button I don't hear the repeater tone after I release the key. This also
happens on my HT.
