[RadioShack] New Reflector!!

Ok, I'll bite. I just subscribed last week so I didn't know how new the
list was.

I've used Radio Shack scanners for years but liked Alinco and ADI better
for Amateur Radios - until recently. I couldn't pass up the closeout sales
and ended up with an HTX-252 2M mobile and HTX 420 dual band HT.

Each radio has its strengths and weaknesses and I wouldn't have paid full
price for either one, but they make good low-budget primary and secondary
rigs.

By the way, the 420, right out of the box, seldom stops on busy frequencies
while scanning. Has anyone else heard of this? It is still useable without
scanning and I don't really want to send it in. I'd love for someone to
tell me I missed a setting somewhere.
