[RACES-Membership] Mass Casualty Drill

Just a note to thank everyone who participated in the Mass Casualty Drill on
Sept 25th.  By design the only RACES members that knew of this were the ones
who meet every Wed morning.  We were told EXPLICITLY not to let anyone know
and not to pre-position anyone at any of the hospitals.  Even the Wed
morning crew could not act until we received notice from the Communicator.
All in all I think it went extremely well considering that many of you were
at work or simply could not participate for one reason or another.  We had
all hospitals, with the exception of Kino, activated with operators
including the EOC.  Thanks to all who participated and I look forward to our
packet training in October.  October 19th 18:30 - 20:30 and Oct 24th 9:30 to
11:30.

 

I will also need everyone to RSVP for the Packet radio training.  I
especially need all Team Leaders to come.  If you don't know who you are
then contact me via email or phone.  I would really like to have everyone
who is assigned to the hospitals to participate.
