[RACES-Membership] NOV/DEC HOSPITAL DRILL

I am cancelling the November and December Hospital monthly drill.  November
21 is El Tour and I would hope many of you are volunteering for this event,
as I am going to.  Thanks to each of you for participating this year and
making it the best year in reviving the Hospital Net.  I also want to thank
those who have helped me with this project, and had patience while I am
learning "the ropes".   The 19th of December is obviously the Sat before
Christmas.  Looking forward to beginning a New Year in 2010, which will
involve Packet Radio training. We are working on the Packet Radio training
during our weekly Wednesday morning meetings and as soon as we have it
completed and presentable, we will have Team leaders initially, most likely,
however we may just invite all - stay tuned.

 

I will also be contacting the team leaders to follow up with their
respective teams with this announcement.

 

Invitation: You are all invited to eat/observe our Thanksgiving Street
Banquet on the 25th and the Christmas Banquet on the 23rd at the Gospel
Rescue Mission where I work full-time as the Men's Center Director, address
is 312 W. 28th Street, nearest cross streets are 29th Street and 10th Ave.,
near 29th Street and I-10.
