[Racal] Racal RA6778C - out of storage

Hi:

 

Just unboxed a RA6778C form storage.  Suggestions on best practices before
turning ON.  A quick check showed Power Supply had been “worked on” as
mounting screws were only tightened in one spot and rear most Cap had clean
solder on terminals.  More interesting is the little ferrite tuning slug
that was rattling around and fell out as I did the check for “what’s loose
making that noise inside test”, 1/8 inch  x ¼ inch (from this or from
something else and just dropped inside – don’t know).    I have no schematic
or info on this one - is anything available?  DataSentry is at 0.00 and is
soon to be removed/replaced, and considering the age re-capping likely in
order (thought and any warnings on this?).  Info would be much appreciated.
