[Racal] FS: Racal rare RA6831 for repair

Hello All,

I have for sale a non-working Racal RA6831 receiver.  This is the touch 
screen version of the RA6830/JD.   This is the only one I have ever 
seen.   I do not have any documentation on it, but many of the parts 
look the same as the 6830/JD.  It does have a full set of filters, 16kHz 
and 3.24kHz crystal filters, and three of the blue Collins mechanical 
that I can't identify at the moment.

Physically it is in good condition.   Electrically, it has some kind of 
intermittent that is keeping it from working.  When I got it the the 
shaft encoder was damaged and could not be repaired.   There was no part 
number on the encoder so I made my best guess at a replacement but that 
did not solve the problem.  There may be other problems, but without the 
basic controls working there is no way to tell.

I do not have a spare power cord, but it uses a common 3 pin MS connector.

The price is $600 plus shipping.   Trades considered if you have 
something interesting.
