[Racal] RACAL 9009 modulation meter

Ray,

 

i found your post from 2007 about the racal modulation meter 2009 on the
racal list.

 

Maybe you also can help me with the racal 2008M.

 

I have restored two of them. Because I only have a service manual

from the 9008 meter, I have no idea what is the difference between

9008 and 9008M.

So far I can see, the 9008M has an additional PCB mounted on the measuring

part. What this PCB does I don’t know.

Also some measurements seem to be different to the 9008.

For example the AF output should have 1V (200mV on older versions) at the
9008

At my both 9008M it is only about 0.1V and the waveform is fine.

I would be very happy, if you could give me some tips.
