[Racal] Is a RA 117 compatible with a RA 66 B

   Hi Pete,

nice, but if you want to connect the RA.66 to the RA.117 you need
a (difficult to find) MA.284 IIRC. Basically you need to move the
IF of the RA.117 to the IF frequency of the RA.17, and that's
what the MA.284 does. It is a mixer from one IF to the other.
So, in short, I'd say: no you cannot connect the RA.66 to the
RA.117 directly. Well, you can :-) but it won't work AFAIK.

A few months ago, a chap in Australia (!) offered that tube
on eBay. Can't remember if it sold, but I live in The Netherlands
... shipping was too risky ... perhaps you can find it in eBay
(closed auctions)
