[Racal] Racal MA1720

I have been trying to use the 1720 as a VFO/RF driver for another RF
amplifier, but after I key the Racal, the "Reset" button lights, and has
to be reset in
order to key it again. I have been using the relay contacts on the rear
so that I can use the Racal to key the amplifier.

I have a partial manual for the unit, but I'm wondering if I'm doing
something wrong. I am getting power output as per the manual. Just the
hassle
with the Reset button lighting. The manual says it lights when there is
a
fault detected, but everything seems to be working okay.

Can anyone familiar with the unit offer any suggestions/help.
