[Racal] Racal-Decca VHF969

Hi, All;

Would any of you know anything about the Racal-Decca "VHF969"
marine VHF transceiver?  

It's obviously a fairly straightforward VHF FM set, but I'm trying to work
out what the original uses of the rear-panel accessory socket were, as
I believe mine may have been altered.

Alternatively, can anyone recommend and Web sites that might have
information or manuals  -  a search engine has revealed virtually nothing?
