Hi Joe.
According to the Racal type number catalogue your rx may be one of
the following:
RA17C American style of the RA17MKII
RA17C-3 standard American style model with silicon power rectifiers and
75ohm wideband aerial termination
RA17C-5 As for 17C-3 but with + or - 6kc/s BFO range.
