[R-390] Bidding all a farewell!

It’s been a lot of years, many friends have come and gone.

It’s funny how fast life passes.

These receivers transcend time. They are worth the effort. At some point we wear out before these radios do. Ive divested myself of all of mine except one original R-390/URR and enough spares to keep it running. What a great radio.

The non-cost reduced original and strangely the cheaper version.

I wish you all the best and hope the new guys coming aboard will carry the flame. Respect them for what they are. There are still a lot of parts available…for both versions. Don’t try to make them what they weren’t meant to be.

I can’t do the work anymore….Parkinson's has taken that from me. So I bow out and leave that to those who still can!.
Don’t forget the dead horses, the black goo from the original filter caps, the special sausage used to make these radios run and the guys from New York to California that shared their insight and humor!
