Les, Fred, thanks for your answers.
I believe I understand what is happening, and the same happened to Paul
Roche messages two times yesterday.
The messages we sent thru our iPhones were received correctly direct,
meaning email address to address, but the same messages sent to the 
r-390 at mailman.qth.net  came back "empty" from the forum website. Cause
unknown.
The only commonality of those "messages sending failures" is that the
originals came from our iPhones.
Another Apple - Microsoft compatibility problem again ?
