For the R-390/URR MECHANICAL ALIGNMENT, on which manual do you rely on ?
The TM11-856 is good only when the C4 is applied to and the TM11-5820-357
still have a problem because the C4 correction did not moves in when it was
published.
The only manual which is free of "birth defects" about is the 1953 Collins
one.
In the TM11-856, what is written on the Chapter 110 (1) at the end is wrong.
The Figure 90 displays the RIGHT position of the cams when the frequency
indicator is 02 000, including the 2nd IF cam, whatever the text says !
That was corrected by the C4, but it is not everybody that knows.
Guess HOW I KNOW, now !
