[R-390] Question about a R-390A & R-725 with a silver faceplate

I had a chrome plated SP-600 front panel many years ago, traded it for something that I can't remember. This was almost 44 years ago. The person I acquired it from "claimed" it was a presentation SP-600 given to a retiring colonel...He didn't know what happened to the radio...
