A matching transformer would be a much better way to run 50 ohms into the balanced input if you want to get fancy. Some wire and a ferrite core or two are about all you need to come up with what you would need.
No, that’s not to say you *should* get fancy. Only that it’s probably a better use of your time if you want to dive into something a bit more complex than just hooking it up.
