JerryThe downloadable "single email archive file, structured by threadtitles for 2002-2022, that can be easily searched by keyword logic"  would be awesome!!
As for where the forum is located, it seems all my other lists (Drake, Icom, Amateur Repairs, Hex Beam, etc.) have gone to Groups.IO so if the advantages out weigh the disadvantages I would be FOR the move.
On the Groups.IO lists the moderator usually asks the members for any possible donation via Paypal when the time comes around annually for renewal.  I for one would contribute towards an R-390 Groups. IO fee if that seems to be the best option.  Also, If there is any excess contribution it is kept towards the next year's renewal.
Thanks for moderating the R-390 group.

 Hello R-390 Groupmates,

Several years ago, Don W5OR (SK) asked me to share administrator
responsibilities with him to manage the R390 mail list server
(http://mailman.qthnet/mailman/listinfo/r-390).

This mailing list is an essential complement to the www.R-390a.net
<http://www.R-390a.net>  website that Larry took responsibility since Al
WA0HQQ (SK) passed.  While the R-390 mail list has over 20 years of
archived messages, the archives are not user-friendly searchable.

I would like to hear feedback from you whether the list should move to a
more feature-packed mailing list such as Groups.io?  Groups.io allows
fille/picture attachments and keyword logic searches on archived messages.
The annual cost would be about $350 which I am willing to take on while
hoping that some of you will contribute a few $/year to help defray the
cost.

Regardless of whether we stay with the current list server or move in 2023,
I am working on compiling a single email archive file, structured by thread
titles for 2002-2022, that can be easily searched by keyword logic.  I
believe I can then broadcast it to all subscribers to download for their
home use.

Looking forward to hearing your opinions,

Best regards,

Jerry NY2KW (ex-K1JOS)
